MGL Ford & Associates was founded by a Certified Critical Care travel nurse that has primary nursing experience in various specialties of nursing while working in diverse settings across the U.S  prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

The founder's interest to become a legal nurse consultant stemmed from experiences and observations encountered in their professional practices as a Registered Nurse. During their primary experience as a nurse leader and preceptor, Ford has always emphasized critical thinking and viewing every patient encounter as an opportunity to provide the most impactful patient experience. Ford has been critiquing medical care and evaluating ways in which to minimize liability for 6.5 years. 

 

Ford's Nurse Residency/Fellowship was completed at Duke University Health within the Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care Unit. They have worked extensively in various Level I, II, & III trauma and research facilities, along with rural hospitals. Our founder's primary nursing expertise is in critical care with specialty areas ranging from Cardiac, Covid, Medical ICU, and Surgery/Trauma/Ortho. Secondary to critical care,  they have experience as a psychiatric/behavioral health nurse with primary nursing experience of both pediatric patients, as young as 5yrs., and adult patients with varying disorders.

Ford currently holds a compact nursing license that covers 37 states and U.S. territories, along with licensure in California and the District of Columbia, and maintains current primary nursing practice within a tertiary hospital.

Ford has access to an extensive network of professional registered nurses with a minimum of 5+years of experience in varying specialty areas and are available for subcontracting.
